Founded as a community impact project of Leadership Pine Belt 2018, and currently sustained by Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg, the Pine Belt Diaper Bank is dedicated to providing diaper assistance to eligible families across the Pine Belt. Edwards Street Fellowship Center’s food pantry has served as the distribution location for these diapers for infants and toddlers since the program launched in February 2019.
WHAT: Diapers in sizes Newborn to 6 while supplies last
WHERE: Edwards Street Fellowship Center food pantry,
1919 Edwards St., Building #1, Hattiesburg, MS
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays;
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays
ELIGIBILITY: The diaper bank uses the same eligibility requirements as the ESFC food pantry. ONE of the following items must be shown for each child receiving diapers:
- Child's Social Security card, OR
- Child's birth certificate, OR
- Child's crib card from the hospital nursery.
(Note: Parent/guardian may present the original document, a photo copy, or a photo of the document on their phone.)
FREQUENCY: Eligible clients receive one bundle of diapers per child each month.
